During the Spring Festival, people tend to eat and drink more and exercise less, so weight gain is inevitable. Many people are already worried about how to lose weight during the Spring Festival. We will discuss how to lose weight during the Spring Festival in the following article.
Below is an introduction to the fat-removing methods using bitter melon and winter melon.
Eat raw bitter melon
Bitter melon is also a summer vegetable used to cool and relieve heat. It is rich in vitamins B and C, calcium, iron, etc., and has a significant blood sugar-lowering effect, offering some therapeutic benefits for diabetes. It also possesses certain antiviral and anti-cancer properties. Those interested can try eating raw bitter melon, as its fat-reducing components can inhibit fat absorption. CCTV's "Life and Health" program once reported on the remarkable phenomenon of an entire mountain village's slender figures, discovering that they ate 2-3 raw bitter melons daily.

Stir-fried winter melon
Winter melon is highly nutritious and plays an important role in preventing weight gain and promoting a healthy physique. It contains no fat and is low in carbohydrates, making it a low-calorie food. Regularly eating stir-fried winter melon is beneficial for most people, including those who are overweight. Winter melon has been considered a wonderful food for weight loss since ancient times.
If you ate too much greasy food during the Spring Festival, you might want to try this; it might help you become slimmer!
Many people envy me because I eat a considerable amount compared to my peers, yet my waistline has remained at 1.9 feet. There's no secret to it; I simply follow these two rules. Specifically, it's done as follows:
First, when eating, try to use your chopsticks to eat foods that are low in calories and high in fiber. Examples include vegetables, mushrooms, wood ear fungus, seaweed, fruits, seafood with minimal oil, and tofu. If eating fish or meat, try to eat the parts with bones and thorns, because gnawing on bones and picking out thorns takes longer, so you end up eating less meat. This also allows you to appreciate the flavors of the food more thoroughly, and makes you appear to have a good appetite and enjoy your meal more.
Secondly, exercise after meals. At least walk as much as possible after eating, and ideally, go for a run in the evening to burn off excess energy. Walking for an hour can burn over 200 calories. For example, going shopping after dinner, walking two or three stops home instead of taking public transport, or doing housework like mopping the floor when you get home are all effective activities.
Third, maintain a high metabolic rate, which means maintaining a physique that is less prone to weight gain. This physique isn't mysterious; it's simply a state of good physical fitness and strong cardiopulmonary function. If you feel energetic after 4 hours of trail running, don't feel out of breath after an hour of tennis, don't feel too tired after running continuously for half an hour, and can climb eight flights of stairs without breaking a sweat, then you're likely someone who isn't prone to weight gain. Such people have well-developed muscles, good internal organ function, and a high basal metabolic rate, burning more energy than others with the same amount of exercise, naturally making it less likely for them to gain weight around their waist. They have smooth body lines, are slender but not gaunt, full but not loose, full of vitality, have a radiant complexion, and look aesthetically pleasing.
A good way to check if someone isn't getting enough exercise is to look at their fat distribution. If they're slim everywhere else, with a healthy face, but have excess fat around their waist and abdomen, you can be 90% sure they're not getting enough exercise. With at least four sessions of aerobic exercise per week, lasting more than an hour, they'll gradually regain their slim figure.
Since we have so much time to indulge in delicious food during holidays, why can't we allocate a little time to exercise? Even just half an hour of aerobic exercise each day is enough to maintain our figure. Don't say you don't have time; as Uncle Lei Feng said, time is like water in a sponge, or a plank for hammering nails. We can always find time for things we consider important. If we truly love our health and truly desire a slim figure, we can definitely achieve it.
