Some people finally manage to lose weight, but then gain it all back in a short time. Ugh, it's so frustrating! So how can you better maintain your figure after losing weight? Let's share some experiences from netizens today!
Since successfully losing 20 pounds, I've been successful in maintaining my current figure! I feel it's necessary to write down my successful methods so that more women can understand. What works for you may not work for everyone. This is because different people have different body types and eating habits. People who find it difficult to lose weight easily are often obese from childhood, with high insulin levels that convert glucose into fat, resulting in slow weight loss. Finding a method that suits you and sticking to it is crucial. If you become complacent after successfully losing weight, it will inevitably bounce back. Developing good sleep and eating habits is the best way to maintain your figure, and it worked perfectly for me!
I once wrote a post about my successful weight loss. Now, six months later, I'm still maintaining my post-weight loss weight.
I used to be a chubby girl, and my friends teased me, saying I looked like an "ostrich"... Being someone who cares about my appearance, even though my friends were just joking, it still stung. I made a tough decision to lose that "ostrich fat," and I did it! I don't want to go back to being an "ostrich." After successfully losing weight, I didn't let my guard down and continued to pay close attention to my diet and lifestyle. A perfect figure requires constant attention and maintenance!
Here is a brief description of my daily diet.
1. Morning
After waking up in the morning, I first drink a glass of honey water on an empty stomach to cleanse my intestines (because I'm a bit constipated). I've always made sure to drink a bowl of warm honey water on an empty stomach before eating breakfast. When I was in school, beekeepers would come to sell honey, and it was always very pure honey. I drank that kind of honey all the time. Now that I'm working, I haven't come across that kind of honey anymore, so I buy honey from the supermarket. I've been drinking Wang's honey lately, and I think it's pretty good! I keep some at home and at the office.
Breakfast should ideally consist of whole grains, which are good for your health. This morning I had bread and soy milk (the whole wheat bread was sold out, so I bought regular bread instead).
Women should primarily drink soy milk, supplemented with cow's milk, for better health benefits. Do not drink too much soy milk at once, as this can easily cause indigestion due to overeating, leading to discomfort such as bloating and diarrhea. I only drink about half a bowl each time, and I always eat soy milk with noodles or bread to aid nutrient absorption. The bread isn't eaten all at once; this amount is enough for breakfast for my family of three.
Around 10 AM, if I feel a little hungry, I make myself some porridge. I bought two kinds of powder: one is Job's tears powder, and the other is a powder made from various beans (mung beans, red beans, black beans, etc.) ground together. It's all-natural, freshly ground on the spot. This is good for your health, won't make you fat, and can even help with beauty. If you find it bland, you can add a little honey. A colleague said that the Job's tears powder could remove flat warts on her face. She ate two pounds of it, and they really disappeared! The effect is amazing. I use this for skincare, and it also helps with hunger.
2. Noon
At the company cafeteria, a 6-yuan meal was a great deal – a very substantial lunch. Today's lunch was rather vegetarian, with no beef, ribs, or chicken. I just grabbed some of my favorites: stewed tofu with pickled mustard greens, stewed green beans, stewed potatoes and eggplant, stir-fried dried tofu, fried fish (I peeled off the skin before eating; I didn't eat the coating, as it's unhealthy), a bowl of noodles, half a glutinous rice cake, and a bowl of milk. Quite a feast! Walking around for half an hour after eating helps with digestion and prevents weight gain. Sitting down within half an hour after eating will definitely lead to a belly.
3. Evening
I ate at home for dinner, something light: stir-fried shredded potatoes with chili peppers, eggplant with sauce, and half a bowl of rice.
4. Beverages
Some people say that drinking beverages makes you gain weight, but I think that's because they haven't chosen the right drinks. The drinks I drink are all concentrated and need to be mixed at home. I currently have two kinds of drinks at home: orange juice and fruit vinegar, both of which need to be mixed.
Orange juice can replenish vitamins, and fruit vinegar can soften blood vessels and improve complexion; the whole family drinks it. It's the healthiest beverage.
This is what I ate today. It looks like a lot. I eat this much almost every day. It's good for my skin and helps me maintain my figure.
5. Summary
A: "Eat breakfast like an emperor" - After waking up in the morning, you can choose to drink lightly salted water or honey water on an empty stomach to cleanse your intestines. You must eat breakfast, mainly whole grains, and try to make it as varied as possible.
B: "Eat lunch like an ordinary person" - Eat more vegetables for lunch, try to avoid fried foods, and eat the meat you like, preferably chicken, fish, or beef. Be sure to eat less pork.
C: "Eat dinner like a beggar: -- Eat a light dinner and go to sleep 4 hours after dinner."
D: Participate in more sports activities and develop good fitness habits.
