For example, skin lesions on the elbow may spread to the upper arm, which is often related to local skin friction and improper care. Timely intervention can help control the spread.
To reduce the risk of new or spreading skin lesions, the following points can be noted:
- Adhere to the treatment plan guided by your doctor and avoid stopping medication on your own or frequently changing medications.
- Reduce skin irritation by choosing loose-fitting cotton clothing and avoiding scratching and excessive cleaning.
- Record and pay attention to factors that may worsen symptoms, such as stress, infection, or dietary changes.
- If new skin lesions appear in multiple areas of the body, a follow-up visit should be scheduled promptly to adjust the treatment plan.
